“ We were staying at VDP Flamingos and decided to take a walk (30 min) and give Ixi’im a try. I hate to say it, but it was the best meal we had all week! We had the verde juice, Kombucha, enchiladas and the mex bowl. Food was very flavorful, healthy and generous portions. Don’t miss out on this little gem! ”
“ Cute place. Food was great. Service was fast. Our server was very attentive. We had the burritos and omelette. I had the papaya smoothie and my girlfriend had the green drink. Desserts were very nice. Definitely coming back. Prices are reasonable too. ”
“ We were so pleased to find this little gem. Incredible, freshly prepared food, wonderful atmosphere and gracious host. So many options, I had a hard time choosing, which is not common for vegans eating out lol. Highly recommend. ”
“ Delicious meal! I ordered 5 tacos and the papa con chorizo was my favorite. Esposo ordered sopes and they were great! Especially the sope (bread/tortilla itself). Salsa tray was incredible! Jugo verde and naranja was perfect. Highly recommend! Can't wait to come back and try diablito (a dessert). Wonderful start to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you. ”
“ We really enjoyed this little cafe. We shared two savoury waffles - one with jackfruit and the other with beetroot hummus. The service was delightful and their sauces delicious! ”
“ This little place is an absolute gem and a must visit for vegans on vacation. It was a solid ten minute walk up a steep hill from our hotel on the beach. Wear your comfy shoes. But, it was well worth the walk. There were so many great choices on the menu we had difficulties in deciding what to get. (We solved this problem by deciding we’d have to come back.) The owner is a lovely person and we loved talking with her about Veganism. You will need to be patient. This is Mexico and not the United States. Your food will not appear instantly. Enjoy the experience and the company of those you are with. There are books, cards and board games in the back. We love our vacations in Mexico because it is a different pace of life from usual lives back home. The culture here reflects this more relaxed pace of life. Enjoy sipping your vegan hot chocolate and reflect on life for a while. My husband loved the sweet potato fries with dipping sauce and the crispy stuffed burrito. He said it had a “good food feel.” He ordered this dish again in our next visit. My son ordered the enchiladas one day and a dish with mole sauce on our other visit. I ordered the oat, chia and flax seed waffles, (I think those are ingredients), with agave syrup and chocolate peanut butter sauce. Delicious! Portions were not oversized either like in the United States. It was a waffle sized for one person rather than a waffle the size of a small city. I ordered the fruit salad with chia seed on the second day with a papaya smoothie. Very fresh tasting and filling. Both days we went there for a late breakfast and the food was so satisfying we did not need to eat again until dinner. We are looking forward to visiting one more time before we head home and trying something from the substantial dessert menu. Looking forward to trying the vegan ice cream. ”
“ I stayed in Bucerias for a week and I ate here every day! Everything on the menu was delicious. The prices were good and the service is amazing, the girls working here are super nice. ”
“ Amazing atmosphere, delightful staff, cute presentation, delicious mix of fresh flavors. So stoked to find a local vegan restaurant. We are satisfied and grateful to have found this diamond in the rough. We will be back frequently ”
